The students were taken to Natalau Village (our Principal’s Village) where they were welcomed in the traditional Fijian way.
The students were also given the traditional Fijian drink, Kava.
The students were also shown some traditional weapons that were used
in the olden days in times of cannibalism.
Rana, one of our OC students, was learning the traditional art of weaving.
2. Presentation by Youth champs for mental health group.
We had a presentation by Youth Champ for Mental Health.
This was an awareness presentation for World Health Day
which had the theme “DEPRESSION LETS TALK”.
This was a very motivational presentation which relayed a message that there is someone out there who is willing to listen and help.
