This is Mrs.Cagi. I’d like to report recent hot school events.
1. Victory Celebration
On Saturday 15th of May we had a celebration held at Churchill Park. This was to celebrate all the sporting achievement by Western schools starting from Sigatoka to Rakiraki. Representatives of different schools marched through Lautoka City ending at the ground. Our International students took part in the ceremony. They had 2 performances, a Samurai drama and they also sang a song with the Language School students.

2. Ba Pro students Helping out at Koroipita
During our special program our formal students took part with some volunteer activities in KOROIPITA (Peters Village)
KOROIPITA is a settlement that was initiated by Mr. Peter Drysdale for people living below the poverty line. It currently has 165 homes. These occupants pay a rent of $1 per day. They are provided with enough piece of land around their homes to plant vegetables for family use. The students enjoyed this trip and helped the Koroipita children to mingle with outsiders as well as share culture and play games.

3.Special Program Activities
Our Special Program this Term was the best we have ever had because our students continued to come in big numbers everyday. The Program included the teaching of TOEIC everyday, blended with two sessions of Careers for our Year 12 students culminating with Mock TOEIC exams on both Fridays.
Many educational fun activities were offered to our students ranging from Amazing Race, Writing the best Twitter or Facebook posts, Photograph Scavenging through decoding and Treasure Hunt. Each day, students enjoyed their Ice Cream Prizes and TOEIC studies became our trump card. The students really made good use of their holiday.
