BaPro News!

Bula and Greetings from Shainaz at BPFBI

It gives me great pleasure to report on 2 significant events that took place at Ba Provincial Free bird Institute . . .

1. TANABATA FESTIVAL
2. Construction of 2 New Classrooms

1. TANABATA FESTIVAL

Tanabata also known as the star festival is a Japanese festival that is celebrated on the 7th day of the 7th Month every year when, according to a Chinese legend, the two stars Altair and Vega, which are usually separated from each other by the Milky Way, are able to meet. One popular Tanabata custom is to write one’s wishes on a piece of paper, and hang that piece of paper on a specially erected bamboo tree, in the hope that the wishes become true.
As per the Ba Pro Tradition this festival is celebrated at School every year.
This is to encourage our students not only to adapt to the Fiji Culture but also to promote and teach us their culture as well.

2. CONSTRUCTION OF 2 NEW CLASSROOMS
We are currently in the process of Constructing 2 new classrooms at BPFBI. This will enable us to better facilitate our students and give them a better learning environment.

This brings me to the end of my Blog Report.

Have a blessed week everyone!
Vinaka, Arigatoh and Thank you.
